Our Matrix server recipe now supports bridging with Telegram, Discord and Signal! If you're looking to bridge online community chats, drop in to our Matrix channels to get some help setting things up. We have at least one fellow-hoster using and maintaining the bridges so far... see the configs on git.coopcloud.tech/coop-cloud/

We've just released Dendrite 0.9.9 with quite a few bugs fixed 🎈 If you run a Dendrite instance, please consider upgrading! github.com/matrix-org/dendrite

I'm currently quite enjoying self hosting my own @[email protected] bridges at home, and it works great! Couple notes though:

rocks! (And works, despite lobbyist claims.) Just finished setting up a @[email protected] server, including bridges to @[email protected] and @[email protected]. Mirroring the full user experience - even for group-chats and with end-to-bridge encryption. I am excited.

Do you use #Prometheus, #Grafana or #UptimeKuma for monitoring?
Then you might enjoy alertbot, a simple tool that forwards monitoring alerts to #Matrix chatrooms. Adding it is as simple as setting up E-Mail alerts and much more flexible. How to get started? 🧵 ⬇️

Love stickers and using Matrix?
Maybe like me you really like Telegram stickers, but now you have all your chats bridged in one app?

I programmed a simple bot that lets you import Telegram stickers directly into any Matrix room. It's alpha and not ready for public hosting, but you can host it for yourself or for people you know.

New app layout on mobile coming soon! 🚀

What to expect?

1️⃣ Configurable homepage; show/hide recents, favourites & unread
2️⃣ We’re going tabless; an easier to use app with more space for messages
3️⃣ Making primary & secondary actions reachable; while keeping scalability in mind

Lots of fun happening on matrix-wysiwyg - the world's first(?) native cross-platform WYSIWYG editor, written in (with platform-specific bindings on top) for all your Matrix message composing needs. Here's the test jig for autogenerating test cases (we're still debugging :D)

Last week we've released Synapse 1.66! Come read about the removal of email verification delegation, improvements to the admin API, compression for federation traffic and much more on our blog!
