The assembly and serviceability of this thing is (of course) amazing. One small touch I really enjoyed was this little finger loop on the input cover connector.
The difference this made to seating it was stunning (yes I tried without *for science*).
Just the fact that my laptop came in pieces is novel. It was nicely packed up into the box.
Unfortunately, I had to wait a few hours for my daughter to nap before I could assemble it.
In between some less fun work stuff this week I found time to write a little chat bot for linking to GitHub issues: https://github.com/Cadair/skill-github-linker
Made me realise I have been neglecting opsdroid a lot.
Time for another of my my favorite photos I have taken. This one is from a trip to the Very Large Array in New Mexico. We were lucky enough to visit as part of the Astropy coordination meeting in 2019. Apart from this excellent excursion, the trip in hindsight is notable because it was the last time I visited the USA for a number of years. #photograhy
One of the many things I like to do is a bit of #photogaphy I thought I would share some of my favorite photos. This one is from 2016 the first time I attended the #GSOC mentor summit.
@dvdgc13 and I walked a long way that day, in very inappropriate footwear.
This is fucking spectacular, code with swearing is better. Much like everything. https://www.jwz.org/blog/2023/02/code-with-swearing-is-better-code/

STS-53 is here and with it we've got a secret satellite, a fictional hot tub, and a space shuttle full of dogs. I promise that sentence will make sense at the end of the episode. #STS53 1/9
